Here’s the critical detail: A thermostatic cartridge is a brilliant temperature regulator and safety device (it shuts off if cold water fails, preventing scalds). But it is not designed to be a main shut-off valve. Relying on it alone for winter drainage is a common, costly misconception.

Our Engineered Solution: The Two-Valve System

This is why the G-78S Thermostatic doesn’t just have a thermostatic valve. It’s built around a dedicated two-valve architecture:

The Certified Thermostatic Cartridge: This is your guardian of comfort and safety. It ensures the water temperature stays stable and safe, compliance-ready for relevant standards.
The 3-Position Diverter with True OFF: This is your system master switch. While it directs flow to the rain or hand shower, its dedicated OFF position provides a positive, mechanical shut-off. This allows the entire water column to be isolated.
